Meatball Stew

1 1/2 # ground beef
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp marjoram leaves
2 tbsp oil
1 can tomato soup
1 can condensed beef broth
4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
4 carrots, scraped and cut
8 small onions
2 tbsp fresh parsley

Mix beef, bread crumbs, onions, egg, salt, marjoram & shape into meatballs. Brown in the oil. Combine broth and soup. Add meat and veggies, except parsley. Bring to a boil. Cover & simmer 30 minutes. Add parsley just before serving.
